when you write a cv it must gives the clear picture of who you are ,what are the skills you have ,what are the experience you have and what are the qualifications you bring to the job. This guide will help you to excel in job interviews.

Step 1:Research the company

  • Company Background: You must research the company’s history, mission, vaules and culture.
  • Industry Trends: Make sure they are updated about the recent news and developments in the company’s industry.
  • Job Role understanding: Make sure you understand the job description and how your skills fit the role.

Step2:Know your cv inside and out

  • Hightlight key Achievements: you should be able to discuss your major accomplishements confidently.
  • Explain Career progression: You should articulate your career journey clearly ,focusing on growth and learning.
  • Relate Experience to Role: You should practice connecting your experience directly to the job you are appying for

Step3:Commom interview Questions

  • Tell more about yourself: Prepare a 1-2 minute personal pitch that summarizes your professional background and goals.
  • Why do you want this job ?: You should answer according with the company’s values and the job role.
  • What are your strength and weaknesses?: Focus on relavant strength and be honest about your weaknesses(mentioning how you going to work on improving your weaknesses)

  • Describe a challenge you faced and how you handle it : Prepare examples of problem solving in previous roles ,using the STAR method (Situation,Task,Action,Result)



Step4: Behavioral Questions(STAR Method)

  • Situation: set the scene by briefly exaplaining the context.
  • Task: Describe the responsibility you had in that situation .
  • Action: Explain the specific steps you took to address the task.
  • Result: End with the outcome and what you learned or achieved.

Step5:Prepare Questions to Ask the interviewer

  • Company Culture: Can you tell me more about the team i will be working with ?
  • Growth Opportunities: What are the opportunities for professional growth in this role?
  • Next Steps: How does the hiring process look like from here?

Step6:Practice Mark perfect

  • Mock Interviews: Practice answering common and behavioral questions with a friend or family member
  • Body Language: Make sure you understand the importance of eye conduct ,a firm handshake and sitting up straight.
  • Tone & Pacing : Speak clearly and confidently,without rushing.
